Paper Abstract

When we first walked into this house, it immediately felt like home. We had moved to Toronto/Mississauga when we were first married and raised our daughters there until March of 2019 when we returned home to St. Catharines. It was important for us at that time to be closer to family and experience a slower pace and lifestyle. We made that move and never looked back!

As a busy family of 4 (and sometimes 6 with boyfriends in tow), we would enjoy our family dinners in our dining room most nights, and always on a Sunday. It was a time to reflect on the day or week, discuss current events, and reminisce about trips we took and still wanted to take. My Dad would come for Sunday dinners and even as grown adults, our daughters loved that time with Papa.

The location of this home was also important to us. Being a block away from family gave us the opportunity for the first time since we were married to spend more time with our extended family. The proximity of the lake is part of who we are—taking the dogs along the Waterfront Trail is part of our daily routine and sets the tone for the rest of the day.

We wish you the very best in your house hunt and do hope that you give this house serious consideration. We have loved calling 1 Tanner Circle our home and know you will love it too!
