DEAR BUYERS,
This home has been a sanctuary for me for many years, and it holds more memories than could ever be put into words. It’s where milestones were celebrated, seasons changed, and everyday moments became something special. It’s where mornings have started slowly in the sunny front kitchen, where friends have gathered without needing an invitation, and where family celebrations spilled comfortably from room to room. From quiet winter afternoons to the long, warm evenings of summer, this has always been a place that felt steady, bright, and welcoming.
The light here is something I have always loved. It pours through the windows and glass doors, making even ordinary days feel special. The living and dining areas are open enough that everyone stays connected, whether you are cooking, chatting, or relaxing together. And when the weather warms up, the balcony and lower patio become the heart of the home. Surrounded by gardens and tall trees, the patio is perfect for barbecues, reading, or enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day.
The neighbourhood has been just as wonderful. Being so close to nature has always been one of my favourite parts of living here. Only steps from the front door, the canal trail stretches for 5km all the way to the lighthouse. In the other direction, the shoreline of Lake Ontario leads to Happy Rolph’s Park. During the spring and summer, the fruit stands along Lakeshore Road offer fresh local produce from the first asparagus in May to crisp apples in the fall. The local wineries and the arts and culture in Niagara-on-the-Lake have added so much to everyday life here as well.
And then there is the community itself. Newport Quay is friendly, welcoming, and the kind of place where neighbours look out for one another. It has always felt like a small, connected pocket of Niagara with so much to enjoy close by.
This home has been loved deeply, and while it is bittersweet to imagine passing it on, I am grateful for the chance to share it with someone new. My hope is that you will feel the same warmth, comfort, and ease here that have meant so much to me through the years. May it be a place where your own memories take root and grow.
Sincerely,
Charlene
